Then, when we got home, Noah and I played a lot and after a bath and getting in my brand new pj’s that are HUGE, Mommy was scratching Noah and he did a downward dog yoga pose, which seems like it should be natural as he is a dog, after all. Well, I knew how to do a downward dog too, so I showed everyone and Daddy rushed off to snap a picture. Yay! More pictures of me!

So Much Fun To Be Had Here

So there I was. My first night at the fair, and so much was there to see and do. Mommy and daddy pushed me around in my stroller so I wouldn’t get tired and we started straight off by going to get ride tickets then getting on the bee ride! Daddy took some video of that, so hopefully you can see that soon. It was so much fun! Daddy snapped a photo while we were waiting in line for tickets. Can you see just how happy I am to be there?

So, after we did the bee ride, we wandered around a good bit. Daddy took some more photos while mommy and I watched some rides that I was too short to get on, and we walked around and found some food. We also went to where we could pet some goats and other strange and fun animals, but daddy says none of the pictures in there turned out. Too bad! I fed a bunch of those animals and hugged something that looked kind of like a deer. It had very pretty eyes.

Daddy played more with his camera and got some really neat photos of some rides that I wish I was big enough to ride on, but not yet. Maybe next year! Some of the photos even look like there are ghosts on them because daddy set his camera to go slow while the rides were going fast! Look at the pictures!

Well, after eating and watching some rides, I got to play a game where I went fishing and I won a fish that’s almost as big as me and is really colorful. My fish and I sat with mommy and watched some more rides, then we got back on the bee ride and then went on home with some funnel cake and cotton candy.

Noah is Tired.

Anyhow, we went there and this dog seemed to be really cool, so Mommy and Daddy asked about him and then a few days later Mommy left Daddy and I sitting at the house to play and when she came back she had this dog named Noah with her! I was scared at first. The dog is big, but he was even more scared and after chasing him around a little he started chasing me. We like each other just fine now, but he can still be a bit rough. But hey, I’m tough. Don’t you forget it!

Yeah. That’s right. I’m a beast, as they say. Don’t be afraid, though. I’m not out to hurt anybody. Just in training. See, dad’s learning kung fu, and I want to learn too. I want to be strong and healthy and not have to worry that somebody’s going to try to jack me in the parking lot of Piggly Wiggly. Hey! That’s really the name of a grocery store around here. Don’t go getting cute with me, bub!

So, anyhow, more proof of just how tough I am? Gotta see proof that I’m a serious contender? Fine. Look over there, to the right. That’s me getting geared up for sparring. It’s dad’s equipment, so it is a little bit big on me, but you get the point. I’m here to kick butt and take names.

That’s me, though. The little guy with the big guns. The mighty minor. The prince of pa-pow! And don’t any of you forget, I’m always ready. Well, except for at nap time. Or bed time. And if there’s dinner to be eaten, you’re just going to have to wait.

Why a frog? Well, yesterday Asher saw a tree frog and did his usual (and rather cute) squat and point routine. Cara explained to him that it was a frog and since then he has been very interested in ‘fraw’, repeating the slightly mis-spoken word, and ‘petting’ frogs that he sees on a computer monitor.

We shall see how it ends up!

Last night mama left me with dada a lot and I really wanted to see mama. I started to cry, which usually gets me to mama, then I realized that mama is the same as ‘mama’, so before I really started to cry I tried saying it. I looked ahead as she left the living room, made a little cry as she entered the kitchen then with trembling lips said ‘mama’. She came back right away and took me straight out of dada’s hands. It was great. No, it is magic! I’m going to have to try that again sometime. It takes a little more concentration, but a lot less energy than crying. I wonder what other magic words I can learn…

Oh, speaking of mama, I had dada post a bunch more photos from last weekend. He’s got a few up in the ‘Sweet, Sweet Boy’ album of me playing with my links, but there are some really nice photos of mama and I in the ‘Natchez Trace Trip’ album. Dada says he will be getting 8×10 prints of some of those for his office.

We now have an 8.0 megapixel PowerShot A630 to replace the 3.2 megapixel Powershot A75. I don’t know what all the different numbers mean and all that stuff, but I do know the pictures from this camera are a whole lot nicer. I’ll toss some up in a ‘new camera’ album in a minute. These are not the best the camera can do, but they look pretty darned nice and daddy said he figured out how to get the camera to save the larger files now, whatever that means. Hooray for new photos of me!

I definitely like my crib, but mommy and daddy have really outdone themselves this week, buying me a new couch, love seat, a pair of end tables and lamps and a coffee table as well as a little dining room table with four chairs! They must really love me to buy all that for me. I’ve been cooing and squawking my appreciation all weekend.

Okay, that’s enough talk! Look at me! Look at how adorable I am! (I’m going to be 10 weeks old tomorrow and I’m already wearing 3-6 month old clothing!)
